At Five Islands Lobster Co. you are not just having a meal. You are enjoying all that Maine has to offer. The freshest seafood, friendly service, and breathtaking views all await your arrival.
We’re located on the wharf at Five Islands…
…a fishing village on the island of Georgetown, Maine. Five Islands is known as the “prettiest harbor in Maine”, and is truly one of the most picturesque spots anywhere on the coast. Our part of Georgetown sits on Sheepscot Bay as it opens up to the Gulf of Maine. The waters are some of the deepest and coldest on the coast which makes for the most sought after lobsters anywhere.
Dining at Five Islands Lobster Co. is easy and casual.
Bring a cooler (we don’t serve alcohol), some friends and sit back and enjoy your meal with the low rumble of the lobster boats pulling away from the dock, buoys swaying on the open sea and the distant sound of seagulls in the air. This is dinner in Maine.
Visit us once and we’re sure you’ll come back!
The wharf at Five Islands is a working wharf used by our local lobstermen.
While you’re here you can watch them baiting their traps, selling their wares, or if you happen to be here in the evening, watch as a huge tuna is brought in. Take your live lobster or steamers home with you. Take your prepared meal to a nearby state park, or sit and join us in the relaxed Maine atmosphere at one of our picnic tables and take in the sights.
The islands, lobster buoys, the open sea, and the sounds of the gulls and lobster boats pulling away from the dock. It’s everything you need for a lasting memory.
The current owners, Keith and Gina Longbottom, have taken great pride in running Five Islands Lobster Co. since 2007. We believe in serving the freshest food possible at the highest quality. That means we put as much love and care not only in our lobsters but in everything we offer. We make our own seafood chowder, onion rings, and sauces. That’s right, no packaged tartar sauce here. Our tartar sauce recipe includes fresh dill and capers, and some say it’s the best they’ve ever had! Try our mustard dill sauce on crab cakes or salmon. Our cilantro mayo has a little kick of lime and jalapeno; it goes great with the haddock, crab cakes, scallops, and nearly everything else including the burgers and onion rings.
Dining at Five Islands is as casual as Maine gets and the food is fresh and delicious. Bring a cooler and some friends, dining is as casual as Maine gets, and food’s great.
We strive to provide great food that stands up to the experience of visiting Five Islands.
