SEAFOOD BY THE POUND
Fresh Caught Hard Shell Lobster
Our lobsters are supplied by local lobstermen. The waters in our area are said to be some of the coldest and deepest on the coast of Maine. Ideal conditions for great lobster. Cooked lobsters are prepared in salt water.
Fresh Caught Soft Shell Lobster
Known as “shedders” they’re very sweet, and easy to eat. In most cases you can just tear the shells apart without need of any tools. They do, however, tend to have less meat in the claws. So, if you’re a big “claw meat person”, you may want to stick with hard shells. Cooked Lobsters are prepared in salt water.

Not looking for seafood?
Of course we put just as much care in preparation and attention to ingredients into the rest of our menu, which includes burgers, hot dogs, chicken tenders, grilled cheese, and what many customers say is “the best steak-and-cheese sandwich around”!
Our “Love Nest” grill serves casual fare including fried seafood baskets, grilled sandwiches and our renowned onion rings.
The “Lobster” building offers live or cooked lobsters, steamers, along with corn on the cob, potatoes and coleslaw.
And the “Ice Cream Building” proudly scoops up a wide variety of Maine Made Ice Cream.
Our food could not be any fresher.
Lobsters are pulled straight from the surrounding waters and are never “tanked-stored”. Our fried selections like haddock, shrimp, scallops and onion rings are hand-breaded, and Downeast Magazine says we have the “Best Fried Clams in Maine”. Stock pots simmer house-made soups in the kitchen. Even our sauces are made here with our own recipes. Why would we top our dishes with anything else? Tartar Sauce with fresh dill and capers, Cilantro Mayo with a kick of jalapeno and lime, and Mustard Dill spread to name a few.
